First, I have to say that I am very proud of your progress, especially regarding the speaking skill. However, some logical transfer has not been done at some point and you need to do it right now. That is, I am referring to asking questions properly in English. Please, bear this in mind. It is urgent and very important!
Remember that when we use the verb 'can', you ask questions using it first and then adding the subject and the main verb after it. For instance: 'Can you play the song again, please?' 'Can you repeat, please?' 'Can we copy that from the blackboard?'
When using the verb 'have got', something similar happens. First, we place 'have', then the subject and after that 'got' and the complements. Examples: 'Have you got a pencil, please?' 'Have you got the Spanish marks?' 'Have you got an extra worksheet, please?'
The third case happens with the verb 'to be'. We use it first, followed by the subject and complements. Examples: 'Is she ill?' 'Is it very difficult?' 'Are you happy with our marks and exams?' 'Are you angry?' 'Are we going to listen to the song?'
The fourth case occurs with most verbs and we need an auxiliary form to ask the question. So, we use 'do' or 'does' to ask those questions. Then, we put the subject and we finally add the main verb and the complements. For instance: 'Do we copy that in our notebooks?' 'Do you like English?' 'Do they play with you?'
Another option appears when using the Wh- questions (what, where, when, how, etc.) In this case, we use the wh- word first and then we choose one of the options above (the one that suits us best) Examples: 'What can you do?' 'What have you got?' 'What is your name?' 'What do you do?' '
